Last night our Lower School students closed out the last school week of 2019 with a bang at their Winter Concert! This year’s concert, themed “Celebrate the Seasons: Autumn & Winter,” included a mix of familiar songs, some by “Earth, Wind & Fire” and “The Mamas and the Papas”, and new songs originated in Norway and Mexico. Students worked hard during the months leading up to the concert, learning how to keep a beat, about different rhythmic patterns, and how to adjust in volume and tempo when performing a song. It is no surprise the night ended with a standing ovation from the audience!
