You can sign up for a Parent Tour through your Ravenna account.
Come take a guided tour through our classrooms as they are in session. Tours offer a wonderful way to experience what a day in the life of a Keys student may look like. If you are touring our Lower School you may observe our first graders building a neighborhood or perhaps be the lucky audience to an impromptu musical number. Parents who tour Middle School may overhear students discussing real world problems such as global warming or hear the sound of instruments in the quad as our musicians rehearse for a performance. We hope you’ll join us for a glimpse of life at Keys!
Admission Process Checklist
Applying to Kindergarten
Ready or not, here I come! Your preschooler is ready to embark upon their next adventure, bravely stepping out into the world in their little shoes. We know that these beginning steps are the first ones of a long journey, and we look forward to partnering with you in nurturing, inspiring, and guiding your child. We are here for you and eager to make this important time in your child’s life one that is filled with wonder, kindness, and the joy of learning.
Applying to First to Fourth Grade
Pencils, journals, glue sticks, and ipads. Your child is immersed in the elementary school culture, ever more curious about the world in which we live. Our first through fourth grade classrooms are filled with the sound of students working together as they collaborate on projects from power points to dances, from large-scale murals to science experiments. Elementary aged students are beginning to create their own framework and understanding of the world, and Keys School welcomes them to question, hypothesize, test, and reflect. Together, teachers and students reach deeper meaning and gain greater self-knowledge. We invite you to continue your journey here at Keys where you will be encouraged to reach new heights and make lifelong friends.
Applying to Fifth to Eighth Grade
Self-discovery. Growing independence. Questioning assumptions. Abstract thinking. The Middle School years are an exciting period of growth and development. Our stellar faculty is ready to build upon an existing knowledge base, helping students to explore their world with depth and purpose. We work closely with our students as they discover who they are and how they would like to contribute to their community. At Keys, we are ready to support their passions, helping them to launch into their futures with a deep sense of meaning and an openness to the ever-changing landscape of the world around them. We understand how vital it is that your children never lose their sense of wonder, that they practice kindness, and that the joy of learning continues to lead them through all of their endeavors and pursuits.
