Here are a few different versions of the pocket document camera attachment for a laptop. This will show the image of whatever you place on/over your keyboard. Our teachers will use this in remote teaching so that students can show their work, and teachers can demonstrate hands-on in front of the camera.
I had to make different versions to accommodate different laptops we use on campus, with varying thicknesses and placements of the existing camera. I am amazed at how subtle differences in angles can dramatically alter the image you see.
I hope these will either work for you or give you the inspiration to create your own for the laptop model you use.
Keep in mind that because streaming applications will produce a mirrored image, this mirror will look reversed for others (not you). See the blog post link above for details on options to resolve this..

I use a 2" x 2" mirror, which you can buy in bulk on Amazon.
*Please note that for the SVG and PDF versions, you may need to cut the cardboard to adjust to the thickness of your laptop lid.
