Is there anything that puts one more at ease than the smell of something chocolatey baking in the oven? Our baking with chocolate group fed the soul this week, whipping up colorful and delicious sweet treats for our students. Students in our Baking groups worked together in smaller sub-groups to bake everything from double chocolate waffles to gluten-free chocolate banana bread this week. The week closed with a bang…cupcake wars! Students used their creativity and newly honed piping skills to create cupcake masterpieces. At the end of the competition, the joy was not in victory but in the fun of trying something new and being bold with their designs.
