Sixth graders warmly welcomed local Egyptologist and historian Al Berens into the classroom last week. Mr. Berens fielded questions from students, shared a photo slideshow of rare antiquities, and discussed the influence of ancient Egyptian culture on the fields of medicine, architecture, and art.
